No way.
No fcuking way.
Orion was sitting on the balcony, still in hardcore denial about the news he'd just gotten. He couldn't believe this. It was impossible--damnit it had to be a mistake. Even as he thought about it though, he knew that he neither wanted it to be nor thought it to be.
Lisette. The sassy French girl he'd shacked up with after cleaning up. He'd been near 16 at the time. The two of them never really had that emotional connection or anything. Moreso they were together just for the warmth of a body beside them at night. Well that and the great sex.
Which led up to his next problem.
Trey Voltaire.
Apparently Lisette had gotten pregnant shortly before the two of them had parted ways. And she'd decided to wait until fcuking now, when the kid was almost two years old, to tell him about it. Orion didn't know what to think. He knew it had to be his because at the time, Lisette hadn't been with anyone else--and this followed the right timeline.
Why was she telling him now? Apparently she'd gotten some sort of fcuking modeling job and she wouldn't have time for her fcuking SON. So she was sending him to fcuking Hogwarts. Fcuking hell.
Angee was gonna fcuking flip.

Angee couldn't find Ryan fcuking anywhere. She was starting to get pissed, an impatient. God, how hard should it be for a girl to find her boyfriend. Actually... in this castle? Pretty hard. She shook her head, stomping her way up to the balcony. She hadn't looked here yet, but it wasn't exactlya place where Ryan spent a lot of his time. Still, it was worth a try...
"Ryan!" She came onto the balcony, hands on her hips. "Honestly. I've been looking all over the damn place for you. Why... are you up here...?" Her speech began to trail off as she noted the look on his face. He looked stressed, and a little confused.
She moved towards him, sitting down beside him. "Baby... babe, are you alright?" Her voice was softer than it had been a moment ago, and she sounded genuinly concerned. She was. She could tell something was wrong with just one glance, and she didn't like the look on his face right now.

Ryan winced a bit when he heard Angee coming onto the balcony. Shit. He hadn't even gotten used to the news and now he had to tell her? Because of course he had to tell her--he couldn't have the kid show up one day and go 'oh by the way I've got a son Ang'. He had a feeling that really wouldn't go over well.
The change in her voice was noted although he really expected it to switch right back once he voiced this. God how had this happened. And here he'd thought Aidan had fcuked up when Eva had gotten pregnant. Fcuking hell.
"Angee, you know that I quit a little more than three years ago--shortly after I turned 15." He didn't move from his place, sitting on the floor against the wall, head in his hands and knees brought up. He was resting his elbows on them so he knew she couldn't see his face and she was probably wondering about that. "I went to France for awhile--and I met this girl. Lisette." Her name wasn't really important but he wasn't leaving anything out. "I stayed with her for awhile and we were ... together. Dating. Whatever."
Ryan sighed and gripped at his hair.
"Fcuk." He couldn't believe this. "Things didn't end up working out and you know, we went our seperate ways. I thought that was it. I really fcuking did." He finally looked up at her and there was a confusion in his eyes he hadn't had since he'd watched Vince die. "I just got a letter from her Ang. Apparently she was pregnant. She never told me.
"I've got a son Angee. His name is Trey and he'll be two years old in January."

Angee watched him carefully, still feeling more than a little concern. "Ryan..." She trailed off as he started to talk. Why in the world would he be saying all this right now? When something was clearly wrong...?
She stared at him for a long moment. Now... what she thought he'd said was that he had a son named Trey. But that couldn't have been right. She shook her head, confused, and then stared at him some more. A son? For the love of God, there was no possible way... was there? She shook her head again, ran a hand through her hair, silent. Which was strange, because Angee McCorkle was never, ever silent.
"I..." She stopped. "You... a... a baby?" Okay, not the most articulate she'd ever been, but this was a hell of a lot to take in at the moment, and Ryan clearly hadn't altogether processed the information either.
"Wait.. but... if you didn't.. why would she be telling you now?"

Ryan waited for her to respond. Anything. For her to yell, to cry, to scream, to jump up and down, to smile--anything. But she was just fcuking silent. He didn't know what to think. What was going through her mind right now? Was she mad? They hadn't exactly completely gotten over the most recent fight they'd had--and this was really adding shit to that pile.
He listened as she stuttered her way through one sentence. Him a baby. That's about what it came down to, yes. He nodded, a look of disbelief on his own face as well. Yes, he had a son. An almost two year old son.
"She's telling me now because apparently she's got some fcuking modeling thing lined up and she can't take care of him. So she's dropping him off with me. He'll be here this weekend." God how had this fcuking HAPPENED. He'd never wanted to have a kid! Not right now anyways! And if he had kids--he'd wanted them to be with someone he was actually WITH. Not with someone he hadn't even planned on being with.
"I can't meet with her Ang. I want you there. I want you to come with me." His hands were shaking a bit, just thinking about it, thinking about the fact that a few days from now, he would come face to face with a past he'd thought was in the fcuking past. Shit.

Angee couldn't really do anything but stare some more. So not only was he informing her that he had a son, but that he was going to be taking care of said son while some bitch of an ex girlfriend went off on a modeling career. Oh, this was all just bloody brilliant. She didn't know what to say. She wanted a future wtih Orion. She wanted to stay with him, and now he was just... dropping this on her. They'd barely gotten over one hurdle, and now here was another. What was she supposed to say?
"You're... going to .. have custody of the kid." She spoke slowly, seeming to think about each word she formed, and it wasn't a question. More like a statement of absolute disbelief. How could this happen? She just decided to inform him he had a kid and then just DUMP him on him? Just like that?
"I..." He wanted her to meet the bitch. That might not end well. Ang had known about this woman's exsistance for, like, 2 seconds, and she already wanted to kill her. But Ryan wanted her to meet her. How well could that possibly end?
This couldn't be happening. This weekend? That was only like... 3 days away. In 3 days, his life was going to change more than he could ever imagine. And this all happening right when Eva and AJ had their baby. It was all just too... weird.
"Orion, I'm not sure what to say about this righ tnow."

Again, he could only nod when she repeated his words again. Yeah. He was going to have custody of his son. For how long he wasn't sure, but probably a few months. If Lisette ended up liking leading her single, fun life again, maybe forever. Honestly, he hoped it was the latter. She wasn't going to dump his son on him like this and then just take him away. She couldn't do that--he'd take her to court. He wouldn't let it happen.
Angee seemed to be in shock just as he was--and he didn't blame her. This was one of those things that you just really had to grow into. Hearing the news was only part of it. The realization would come later. Probably when he was standing with his kid and realizing he had to take care of him. That realization would probably shock him more than the initial news had.
He could tell she was hesitant in meeting Lisette with him but he couldn't do that alone. If he walked out there alone there was a good chance the French lass would try something and he wasn't looking forward to that. Not to mention--he just sort of wanted her there. Moral support--that kind of thing. He needed her there when he first saw his son.
"Just--say you'll stand there with me Ang. I know it's crazy and scarey but please tell me you'll do this with me."

This was too much. How in the world was he expecting her to take all this in, handle all this, and then just agree to come and meet this bitch when she brought his kid around? This was just... way to much. "Ryan, I..." She trailed off, taking a deep breath. She didn't want to give him an answer without thinking about this.
On one hand, she didn't want to meet this girl. There was a girl that had apparently mothered Ryan's kid, and that was threatening. And overbearing, and just weird. And the last thing Angee wanted to do was meet that girl. She just didn't want that. At all. Then again, Orion, her boyfriend, was sitting in front of her, begging her to come with him because he needed her. How in hell was she supposed to say no to that? She wasn't. And she couldn't. Not after he'd been through so much with her, after they'd managed to stick toegether, even after the Aidan/Eva like drama they'd gone through. She couldn't just bail on him now, especially because now was when he needed her most. This couldn't be easy on him. If she was this upset and confused, she couldn't even begin to imagine what he must be going through.
Finally, she took his hands, nodding quietly. "Of course, baby. I'll be there. I promise.. I promise I'll be there." She leaned forward, pressing a kiss to his lips and then resing her cheek on his shoulder, taking a deep breath. This was just so much to take in. She didn't know how to handle it, what to do or think.
