Rachel was heading down the hallway, her worn white sneakers making that familiar thudding sound which echoed down the corridors. They were fairly empty, all the students were in classes. Which just reminded her of the days when she'd skip class with Ty and they'd just walk around teh school, wander the grounds.
It was pleasantly strange, being back. When she'd graduated, she was going to try to become a Chudley Cannon. That's just what everyone expected of Rachel Worthington. Great things. She was an excellent quidditch player. She would have made it. Dane did. But she hadn't been able to do it. A part of her still resided at Hogwarts School, and she couldn't quite bear to leave it behind yet. And so she'd come back and gotten a job as Quidditch Instructor. Certainly it wasn't ideal, nor was it what she planned on doing for the rest of her life, but it was good enough for her for now. She was happy, being back here. Hell, some of her old friends were even here. After all, she was only a year graduated.
But she'd heard that a certain few of her peers were also back at Hogwarts. Interns. Damien and Gage. The three of them had a rocky past that no one could ever quite describe. Rachel respected both of them more than she'd let on, but the they were also bitter enemies, for more than one reason. But they didn't utterly dislike each other, either. It was a complicated relationship that no one had quite understood when they were students, and it probably wasn't going to be any easier now.
She entered the hospital wing with a grin. She'd spent countless hours in here as a student, for various reasons. She usually managed to get herself on the wrong side of someone. She grinned. So many things had happened in this school, she didn't understand how anyone could bear to leave it. She wondered whey Damien and Gage were both back. It was ironic, to say the very least.
She strode straight over to Damien's quarters, knocking briskly on the door three times. She wasn't even sure if either Damien or Gage knew she was back yet, but she was hoping they didn't. Rachel loved a surprise.
